UnSouled

The story that began with Unwind continues. Connor and Lev are on the run after the destruction of the Graveyard, the last safe haven for AWOL Unwinds. But for the first time, they’re not just running away from something. This time, they’re running toward answers, in the form of a woman Proactive Citizenry has tried to erase from history itself. If they can find her, and learn why the shadowy figures behind unwinding are so afraid of her, they may discover the key to bringing down unwinding forever.

Cam, the rewound boy, is plotting to take down the organization that created him. Because he knows that if he can bring Proactive Citizenry to its knees, it will show Risa how he truly feels about her. And without Risa, Cam is having trouble remembering what it feels like to be human.

With the Juvenile Authority and vindictive parts pirates hunting them, the paths of Connor, Lev, Cam, and Risa will converge explosively-and everyone will be changed.

Neal Shusterman continues the adventure that VOYA called “poignant, compelling, and ultimately terrifying.”

I am a middle school teacher and have been hearing about this series for a while. I decided to read it since I like to keep up with books my students like and give them recommendations… I am truly surprised by how much this story has gripped me! I read the first two books already and am eager to continue the series. It is definitely one of the best I’ve read in a long while!

The first time I picked up Unwind, I was like, “another book to read for English class, (sigh)”, yeah I never liked reading, but after I read through it I was like, wow, dark, amazing, I gotta read it again. Then I found UnWholly at my school library and I freaked out and I started reading it, I really cant wait to read the last 2 books because this is one of my favorite books, but the book that takes the cake for me is “Ready Player One” by Ernest Cline

Still I would definitely recommend this book to people because of the nail biting story. A great read and I want to thank you Neil for a experience that will last in my head for a long time, and for letting this be the first book I actually enjoyed to every extent of it.

Also I am crossing my fingers for the movie I really hope it comes out all quick like.

PS: I have a feeling I look like the Connor in the book. I have Black hair and Blueish green eyes

Although I’m only at the part were Conner, Cam, and Una are in the sweat lodge, the way Conner and Cam speak to each other makes me feel as though they could be as great of friends as Conner and Lev are. They understand each other in a way most other Unwinds wouldn’t and if Risa wasn’t in the middle of them and Conner would understand that Cam doesn’t like who he is in the world and how he came to be, Shusterman could create an incredible bond and that shows that sympathy could ignite a friendship without having to fuel it. Again, I am not finished with the book yet, but this is at least what I hope happens by the end of the series. Either way, though, I’m sure I will enjoy Shusterman’s work anyways.

I have only yet read Unwind and I must say it is a great book. I read it as a last assignment in English 4 the end of 2018. I pay very close attention to the events and details of my “life” and I don’t read for entertainment if I choose to read I do so for information on certain topics or just to make sense of things because I find many if not most books to have subliminal messages or symbolism in them. I loved unwind and I look forward to reading other books of yours. You seem like a interesting cool person. The creativity in your books speak for themselves .
