“RoxyHerren” Addiction Recovery, Washington, DC. Event – Hosted by Neal Shusterman, Jarrod Shusterman, Jonas Raider, and Herren Project

The Herren Project is known for supporting individuals and families recovering from drug or alcohol addiction. They support through treatment placement assistance, sober living and recovery coaching, consultations for families, and many other programs.

Neal and Jarrod Shusterman, Jonas Raider, and Chris Herren will be speaking on the mission of bringing more awareness to substance use disorder and how the Herren Project’s programs and support recovery.

A special art auction (art created and donated by Jonas Raider) will be held. All proceeds benefit Herren Project, a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder. herrenproject.org

Who is hosting the event:

Chris Herren (a former NBA player, recovered addict, and motivational speaker) is hosting a unique event to raise awareness of the opioid crisis and other substance use disorders.

Neal Shusterman (best selling author of Scythe and Unwind) and Jarrod Shusterman recently released a book last year named Roxy – a cautionary tale of drug addiction through the eyes of drugs personified.

Neal has collaborated with fine artist Jonas Raider to create a series of one of a kind paintings inspired by the concepts and characters in the Roxy book that will be donated for auction, funds going to the Herren Project.

The event is open to public figures and citizens alike.

Addiction can impact any family or individual. Anyone that would like to learn more about substance use disorder or support the efforts of recovery are invited to attend.
